PlayStation is hosting a special 'UEFA Champions League Challenge' for football fans and gamers in Korea. The winner of this tournament will be awarded a travel package to watch a UEFA Champions League (UCL) quarter-final match, including airfare, accommodation, and match tickets.

This challenge was organized to provide local fans with an opportunity to experience the excitement of the UCL, the world's premier football stage. With the recent success of Korean players on the European stage, interest in the UCL has grown, and this event is expected to be a meaningful experience for fans who enjoy both football and gaming.

Registration is open from 9:00 AM on February 23 to 4:59 PM on March 3. Any South Korean citizen aged 19 or older who owns a PS5 console and plays EA SPORTS FC 26 is eligible to participate. Once registered, participants will receive an individual invitation to a Discord server based on their registration information.

The online qualifiers will be held in a tournament format via the Discord server on March 7 and 8. Participants will join designated voice channels to play their matches, and winners must submit a screenshot of their result to advance to the next round. The top four players will advance to the offline finals, which will be held on March 14 at the Dopamine Station on the 3rd floor of the Yongsan I'Park Mall Living Park. The semi-finals and final will be played sequentially in front of a live audience.

Depending on the match results, the 1st place winner will receive the UEFA Champions League quarter-final travel package. The 2nd place winner will receive a PS5 Pro console and a signed Tottenham Hotspur kit. The joint 3rd place winners will each receive a PlayStation Portal Remote Player and a DualSense Wireless Controller - Midnight Black.

Meanwhile, to commemorate the challenge, an exclusive discount promotion will run from March 6 to March 15 at the official PlayStation store in Yongsan I'Park Mall. During this period, discounts will be offered on various items, including PS5 consoles, DualSense Wireless Controllers, and software. Additionally, on the day of the final, March 14, customers who receive a purchase consultation on-site will be provided with a coupon for up to 10,000 KRW or a 10% discount, and the first 100 customers to purchase hardware will receive a portable battery as a gift.
