SOOP is hosting the '2026 League of Legends Myeolmangjeon Season 1'. This tournament is a signature eSports content for SOOP, with applications opening on February 25 and the grand final taking place on March 14.

Open to any streamer broadcasting on SOOP, the Myeolmangjeon series has seen approximately 10,000 participants over the past decade, surpassing 400 million cumulative viewers. This season, retired professional players such as 'Peanut' Han Wang-ho, 'GimGoon' Kim Han-saem, and 'Smeb' Song Kyung-ho will compete alongside SOOP streamers. The tournament will retain popular operational elements from the previous season, including the 'sixth man' system for active pro players, the director/coach system, and the final analysis desk. Additionally, new features such as a revamped points table and category broadcast time advantages will be introduced.

The tournament will run for approximately three weeks, from February 25 to March 14. Participating teams consist of five streamers with varying skill levels based on a provided points table. A total of eight teams will advance to the main stage: four via user voting and four from the qualifiers. The main stage will follow a double-elimination format, with the top two teams from Group A and Group B advancing to the semi-finals. The grand final will be held offline at the 600-seat DN Colosseum in Sangam-dong.

The previous event, '2025 Myeolmangjeon Season 2', recorded approximately 23 million cumulative viewers, with the final reaching 360,000 concurrent viewers. Last season featured 40 teams and over 200 streamers, continuing its growth in both scale and popularity. For this season, the League of Legends stat service DEEPLOL has joined as a sponsor to provide various data and detailed analysis for every match.
