DREAMAGE and developer AQUATREE are shaking things up in their MMORPG, Architect: Land of Exile, by rolling out a series of class balancing tweaks and a brand-new class change system to polish the player experience.

The primary goal here is to bridge the gap between combat roles and prevent everyone from flocking to the same 'meta' class. Warriors are getting a much-needed boost to their tanking capabilities, with increased defense and aggro generation to help them stay in the fight. Mages, meanwhile, see a significant buff to their utility, with longer-lasting and wider-ranging spells, while Priests get a welcome bump to their healing output and support buffs.

It is a bit of a mixed bag for Assassins and Hunters, though. Assassins are getting better survivability with reduced incoming damage and higher evasion, but they will have to contend with a longer cooldown on their crucial 'Stealth' skill. Hunters are seeing their 'Weakness Detection' window widened and a new hit-rate bonus, plus their 'Shadow Trap' is now more punishing, draining more mana from enemies for a longer duration.

Alongside these changes, a class change system is finally hitting the game. You can swap your class by using a 'Class Change Ticket' while in the 'Abandoned Land' village, provided you are out of combat. Do be careful, though—once you commit to the change, there is no turning back. You have until 11 March to make your choice before the window slams shut.

To sweeten the deal, there is a raft of events on the horizon. From 25 February to 11 March, players can farm rewards like the 4-Star Active Skill Spellbook Selection Box and various Phantom Weapon Summon boxes by slaying monsters in the 'Abandoned Land', 'Barrier of Time', and 'Abyssal Battlefield', or by simply checking off weekly quests.

If you are a regular, you can log in for 14 days up to 18 March to snag items like the Tower of Giants Hot-Time Recharge and various crafting lanterns. Plus, to mark the March 1st Independence Movement Day, there is a special on-time event from 1 March to 2 March; log in during the specified windows to claim goodies like High-Grade Costume Summon Boxes and Enhancement Stone Selection Boxes.
