Ubisoft announced on February 27 that Rainbow Six Mobile, a mobile tactical FPS based on the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six franchise, officially launched worldwide on iOS and Android devices on February 23. Developed primarily by Ubisoft Montreal with support from various global studios, the title provides tactical gameplay and fast-paced combat experiences optimized for mobile environments.

Players can enjoy 5v5 PvP combat based on the core 'Attacker vs. Defender' mode. Attackers use recon drones to gather information and strategically breach destructible walls, floors, and ceilings to carry out their objectives. Defenders must seal off entry points and use surveillance cameras and traps to defend the objective. The game is designed around strategy, tension, teamwork, and situational awareness, bringing the series' signature DNA to mobile.

Rainbow Six Mobile supports game modes such as Bomb, Secure Area, and Deathmatch. Players can choose from over 20 operators, including ASH, MUTE, and DOKKAEBI. In addition to legacy maps like Bank, Border, Clubhouse, Oregon, and Villa, the game also offers mobile-exclusive maps such as Restaurant and Summit. It also includes features like onboarding tutorials to learn core systems, custom private matches, ranked matches, and quick play, with continuous seasonal content updates.
