SOOP is kicking off the qualifiers for its official StarCraft esports league, 'ASL Season 21'. Played on Blizzard Entertainment's classic RTS, StarCraft: Remastered, the qualifiers are set to take place online on March 7 and 8, starting at 1 PM. Google Play returns as the official sponsor, continuing its partnership from the previous season.

The real buzz, however, surrounds the return of Lee Young-ho. With the legendary player making his way back to the official stage after quite some time, all eyes are on whether he can still command the map as he once did.

These qualifiers serve as the gateway to the main bracket of 24. Day one on the 7th will see 12 players secure their spots, while another 10 will follow on the 8th, bringing the total number of qualifiers to 22. These survivors will join the two victors from the 'ASL Season Open' to complete the final roster of 24.
