Global publisher CFK has officially released its new investigative adventure, Connected Clue, on Steam on the 9th. The game supports multiple languages, including Korean, English, and Japanese.

Connected Clue moves away from the text-heavy visual novel format common in the mystery genre, aiming to provide an 'experiential detective adventure.' Players step into the shoes of Diana, a private investigator in Salomon Town, a setting inspired by 19th-century detective fiction, to explore the city and uncover the truth behind various cases.

The investigation is conducted through active exploration rather than just reading text. Players navigate Salomon Town from a quarter-view perspective, interrogating suspects and connecting clues to identify the culprit. From fog-covered alleys to mansions hiding dark secrets, each chapter presents new mysteries that pull players deeper into the complex web of events in Salomon Town.

The full launch version features a comprehensive detective adventure consisting of 11 main chapters (from Chapter 0 to 10) and 18 side quests, totaling 29 quests. Players who experienced Chapters 0 through 2 during the Steam Next Fest can now explore the deeper and more complex mysteries that follow in Salomon Town.

The core gameplay revolves around the detective notebook, where players can zoom in to analyze evidence, manage suspect profiles, and record all discovered clues. Players can also utilize disguise items to infiltrate restricted areas and secure critical evidence. Furthermore, the office detective board allows players to connect testimonies and physical evidence to reconstruct the timeline and identify the true culprit.

Additionally, players can cooperate with Chief Inspector Colin to receive hints via public phone booths when they are stuck or need help interpreting clues. The game also includes a chase and arrest system featuring QTE sequences for when a suspect attempts to flee. New features include taxis for rapid travel across Salomon Town, a visual sound wave indicator for lock-picking, and various cipher puzzles, such as the Caesar cipher.

Connected Clue has gained popularity through various domestic and international game shows, including PlayX4, the Busan Indie Connect Festival (BIC), Comic World, BEAVER ROCKS, and the Detective Festival. The latest demo was showcased during the Steam Next Fest held from February 23rd to March 2nd, 2026. The game is also scheduled to participate in the Japan Game Pavilion this March.
