Maximum Entertainment announced on the 9th that their open-world adventure, 'Smalland: Survive the Wilds', will be arriving on Nintendo Switch 2 this spring. It marks the title's debut on a Nintendo console, bringing with it the full catalogue of updates previously released on other platforms.

In 'Smalland: Survive the Wilds', you step into the shoes of a 'Smallfolk', surviving in a gargantuan wilderness teeming with towering blades of grass, insects, and other creatures. In this miniaturised world, the mundane elements of nature transform into an epic landscape for exploration. You’ll be crafting tools, building shelters, and taming local critters to carve out your own niche in this perilous ecosystem—either solo or with up to 9 friends in multiplayer.

The game’s hook lies in navigating its vast open world, where you might scale towering trees or traverse massive cracks in the road. You can customise your look by crafting powerful armour sets that also provide elemental resistance and unique buffs. Fancy a ride? Tame geckos or scorpions to get around. Resource gathering is key, allowing you to build camps on the ground or up in the trees. Claim the 'Great Tree' for your base, and it will follow you even when you hop between worlds. You’ll also encounter NPCs who reveal ancient lore and survival tips to help you endure the hostile wild.
