The Jeonnam Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency (JICIA) is officially calling for applicants for its '2026 Multi-year Star Game Production Support' project.

As part of the regional game industry development initiative, the agency is looking to discover games with global competitiveness and establish a foundation for the growth of local game companies. This is a multi-year support project.

Eligible applicants are game development or publishing companies capable of delivering a commercial-ready version of their game by the end of the agreement, provided they are headquartered in Jeonnam or are willing to relocate their headquarters to Jeonnam upon selection.

The project will provide up to 150 million KRW in production costs per project to a total of three companies, distributed over two years. The first year focuses on development for a commercial-ready version, while the second year supports additional game builds, global marketing, translation, and QA.

The application period is from March 16 to April 3, 2026, and submissions can be made via the e-Naradoum portal. Selected companies will be determined through written and presentation evaluations.

JICIA President Lee In-yong stated, "Through the Star Game production support project, we will actively support Jeonnam-based game companies in creating globally competitive game content and establishing a foundation for successful market entry," adding, "We look forward to the interest and participation of capable game companies."
