Netmarble is officially calling for recruits to join the Steam closed beta test for their upcoming action-adventure RPG, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, currently in development by Netmarble Neo.

This trial run serves as a precursor to the game's official launch in Asia. The testing window is set for April 17 to April 24, and you have until April 23 to apply via the official Steam page.

During the session, you will get a taste of the open-world rendition of the Game of Thrones universe. It focuses heavily on tactile combat, where dodging, blocking, and perfectly timed parries are the bread and butter of your survival, alongside a system that lets you swap between two weapons on the fly.

Netmarble has been accepting pre-registrations for Game of Thrones: Kingsroad since February 24. If you sign up via PC, you will be rewarded with a Northern costume, 10 potion selection bundles, and 5 Night’s Watch supply crates. Opting in through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store nets you a profile frame, a background decoration item, and one appearance change ticket. Pre-registering via SMS also grants you a mount and a horse gear set.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is an open-world action RPG set during the events of Season 4 of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning HBO series. Built under an official license, the game promises to pull you deep into its world by leaning heavily on the authentic lore and iconic characters of the original work.
