The main talking point in this week's 'Raven 2' Meca Ranking is the mid-tier class scene. We are talking about the Berserker, Deathbringer, and Assassin. Following the conclusion of Class Change Season 8 on the morning of March 18, the share of these mid-tier classes has dipped. In Korea, in particular, the server-specific popularity rankings for Berserker and Deathbringer have been quite volatile.

The server charts usually follow a predictable pattern: Night Ranger and Divine Caster battle it out for the top two spots, with a third class occasionally muscling in. Sometimes, that third wheel manages to leapfrog the leaders. A prime example was the Berserker on Kerum-Metus last week, which tied for second place with the Night Ranger. This time around, however, the Berserker's share dropped by 2 percentage points, sliding back to third.

Berserker rankings fluctuated across 10 servers, accounting for the vast majority of the 12 servers that saw changes in the Top 3 this week. The remaining two servers were left to the Night Ranger and Divine Caster rivalry. It seems the Berserker is the catalyst for this competitive friction. We see Berserker popularity rising on Lux-Honor, Nox-Metus, Vita-Metus, and Solar-Fides, while in other regions, they’ve been muscled out by Deathbringer or Vanguard. It’s clear these three classes are locked in a tight struggle.

Overall Class Analysis

Let's broaden our scope to look at the overall class distribution. Divine Caster’s growth rate ticked up from 0.1% to 0.6%, putting it on the cusp of hitting 29%. Meanwhile, the mid-tier—ranking 2nd to 6th—all lost a bit of ground, showing that the core of the chart is slightly unstable. At the bottom, the gap between Vanguard and Gunslinger, which shared 7th place last week, has widened. With Gunslinger gaining 0.2% and Vanguard slipping 0.1%, it appears the Raven 2 class hierarchy is becoming increasingly fluid. A bit of healthy competition is always a welcome sight, isn't it?

Global Class Analysis

To understand the Raven 2 Global Region chart, you have to look back at last week's shifts. Back then, Gunslinger jumped 0.4% while Deathbringer dipped 0.3%, flipping their positions. However, it seems the Gunslinger’s hold on 4th place is precarious; their share shrank by 0.3%, while Deathbringer clawed back 0.2% to force a tie for 4th. In the lower ranks, the gap between Vanguard and Destroyer is closing fast. While Vanguard’s decline among top-tier players has stalled, Destroyer managed to scrape together a 0.1% increase. The difference between them is now a mere 0.1%. I am looking forward to seeing how these shares and rankings shuffle next week.

Guild Dungeon Ranking Records

The Guild Dungeon rankings have started to stagnate. It seems the top Raven 2 guilds have hit a wall. There are fewer rank shifts, and most are focused on shaving seconds off their existing records. Of course, many failed to improve altogether. Only the 4th-ranked Red Light, 8th-ranked Hi, and 15th-ranked Mushineun-Motmalryeo managed to break their records. Among them, Mushineun-Motmalryeo climbed one spot, pushing Royal Silver down. These were the only two ranking changes in the Top 20 this week.

Raven 2 Meca Ranking User Poll

Last week, we held a poll on 'Classes that need a balance patch.' With nine classes in Raven 2, there was no shortage of opinions. The top spot went to the Elementalist, which has been languishing in 9th place for quite some time. The ever-popular Night Ranger came in second, followed by similar shares for Assassin and Gunslinger. It was quite a surprise to see calls for adjustments to the Night Ranger.
