Mgame announced on the 31st that it has signed a publishing agreement with VTC Mobile (VTC Mobile Services Joint Stock Company) to bring its mobile MMORPG, Ghost Soul M, to the Vietnamese market. With this deal, Mgame is further strengthening its Southeast Asian portfolio, expanding its service reach into Vietnam following its entry into the Thai market last October.

The partner, VTC Mobile, is a subsidiary of the state-owned VTC Group. The publisher is known for successfully launching several Korean titles in Vietnam, including 'MU Legend' and 'Three Kingdoms Blade'. The contract period is three years from the official commercial launch date, and VTC Mobile will hold exclusive business and operational rights within Vietnam.

Ghost Soul M is a mobile game that launched in November 2024. It features a unique Eastern aesthetic blending ghosts and martial arts, implemented through 2D side-scrolling action that recreates the gameplay of the original title. The contract includes a clause ensuring that ownership of the game database remains with the original rights holder, Mgame, even after the service ends, securing stability in asset protection and management.

Cho Gwang-cheol, Head of the Ghost Soul M division at Mgame, stated, "We are pleased to partner with VTC Mobile, which possesses extensive experience in the Vietnamese game market." He added, "We will continue to work closely with them to ensure the charm of Ghost Soul M's Eastern fantasy appeals to Vietnamese users as we prepare for a successful launch."
