NHN has rolled out a fresh SSR-grade character, 'Fate', for its collectible RPG Abyssdia. Along with this, they've launched a character-focused seasonal event and the third season of Abyss Invader, topped off with a handful of quality-of-life tweaks that players have been clamouring for.

Arriving in the update on the 31st, Fate is a ranged physical damage dealer who packs a serious punch. True to her background as a wandering fortune teller, she comes with a backstory involving a bit of a kerfuffle at the Verania Festival and her friendship with Rin. You can try your luck at snagging her through the dedicated pickup contract, which runs from March 31 to April 22.

To get a proper feel for the new recruit, you can dive into the seasonal event 'I Hate It! But I Love It!', running until April 16. By tackling event quests, you’ll unlock exclusive narrative bits and earn currency to trade for growth essentials like Est, premium tickets, energy potions, and Vanguard gift boxes.

The raid mode, Abyss Invader, enters its third season with Uriel, an experimental android gone rogue thanks to the Abyss Slit. She’s got a tricky mechanic: her resistance to all elemental damage drops when she’s hit by a physical-type Vanguard. Naturally, Fate is built to make this fight a breeze. Plus, in a nod to player feedback, the cap for raid entry tickets has been bumped from 3 to 5.

They’ve also polished the UI to save you the headache of repetitive clicking. Features like skipping tutorial combat, a new lobby banner for events, a 'go to next stage' shortcut, and clearer shop purchase guides should make the experience smoother. If that's not enough, there's a 7-day login event running until April 15, handing out Est, regular tickets, and energy potions to anyone who checks in daily.
