Smilegate announced on the 1st that its MMORPG, Lost Ark, is hosting a special event to celebrate the birthday of the game's beloved mascot, 'Mokoko'. Lost Ark has designated April 5th as Mokoko's birthday and has held various events annually. This year's event, themed 'Making the Mokoko Birthday Cake', will run for approximately one month from April 1st to April 29th.

Adventurers can earn points by completing missions, such as logging into the game and playing specific content. These points can be used to open a total of four gift boxes in sequence to complete the Mokoko birthday cake. Each time a gift box is opened, players receive various cake decorations and items necessary for character growth as rewards.

Special rewards are provided based on the number of cakes completed during the event period. Rewards include an in-game 'Birthday Emoji Pack', 'Mokoko Birthday Hat Box', 'Legendary Selection Card Pack', and an 'MVP Background'. Additionally, adventurers who complete 12 cakes are automatically entered into a separate prize draw.

The prizes consist of six types of items, including a 'Dreamy Baba Mood Light', 'Mokoko Fan', 'Gamer Mokoko Plushie', 'Mokoko Doll', 'Mokoko Luggage Tag', and a 'Silicone Charm Set', with a total of 2,000 winners to be drawn. Along with this, all adventurers who log into the game after April 1st will receive a Mokoko stronghold guestbook background to decorate their space. Various item rewards will also be provided during the birthday 'Hot Time' event held on April 5th.
