To be precise, things were largely static until the 9th spot, but from the 10th-place 'Odin: Valhalla Rising' downwards, we saw a massive reshuffling—with some titles swinging by as many as 11 spots.

The biggest climber is 'Trickcal Revive,' which leapt from 38th to 27th place. It seems the 2.5-year anniversary events and updates are hitting the mark. On March 27, they hosted an exhibition at the Hyundai Department Store in Pangyo, showcasing the history of the game's development and service. Naturally, with in-game updates rolling out since the 19th, a spike in search volume was inevitable.

Three new titles also made their debut, shaking things up: 'The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin' (19th), 'Cookie Run: OvenSmash' (22nd), and 'Woo-wa Adventure Team' (29th). 'The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin' has already seen time on Steam and PS5 before its recent full release. Given its strong IP, I wouldn't be surprised to see it break into the Top 10 next week.

However, there’s a brewing storm beneath the surface: the steady decline of the #1 title, 'Aion 2', and the rapidly shrinking gap between it and the runner-up.

The distance between 'Aion 2' and 'Lineage M' has narrowed significantly since last week, with the difference in search metrics now sitting at roughly 10%. 'Aion 2' once enjoyed a 'solo' dominance that felt unassailable, but the winds have shifted. With a wave of new releases hitting in Q2, the top spot is no longer guaranteed. It looks like a proper brawl for the throne is upon us.

Online – League of Legends, A Change in Fortunes

The #1 spot in online gaming hasn't changed in ages. We are, of course, talking about 'League of Legends,' which has stubbornly held its throne against countless challengers. It has faced its fair share of crises, yet it always ends up back at the top.

However, since the tail end of Q1 2026, 'League of Legends' has seen a steady slide in search volume. This has brought the newcomer 'Lineage Classic' close enough to make one wonder, 'Could it actually happen?' While a total overtake isn't imminent, the trend has opened up a real possibility. To put it mildly, it's time for 'League of Legends' to sweat a little.

That said, in this tally—taken just before the 2026 LoL Champions Korea kick-off on April 1st—'League of Legends' successfully reversed the trend. Steam – Crimson Desert, Running Away with It

'Crimson Desert' has immediately asserted its dominance. Following its #1 debut last week, it has widened the gap against the 2nd-place title in this first April report. At this rate, the Steam throne isn't changing hands throughout April.

The sentiment surrounding 'Crimson Desert' is remarkably positive. Steam reviews have been trending upwards since launch, and the community is actively churning out content. It’s becoming a game that’s as fun to watch as it is to play—the hallmark of a long-term hit.

Developer Pearl Abyss is also putting in the work. They’ve pushed three major patches—on March 23, 26, and 30—listening closely to player feedback and iterating on the fly. Having recently peaked at 270,000 concurrent players on Steam, we’ll see what milestones they hit next.
