Wemade Play announced on the 3rd that it is rolling out two back-to-back events for its mobile puzzle game Anipang 4 to celebrate the April refresh. The lineup features the now-staple 'Cherry Blossom Collection' spring event, alongside a fresh mini-game dubbed 'Relic King'.

First up is the Cherry Blossom Collection, a seasonal favorite that has signaled the arrival of spring in Anipang 4 for years; it runs until the 17th. Players can smash blocks decorated with cherry blossoms on the puzzle board to rack up points. Once the event wraps, players will be rewarded with various items based on their rank. Plus, expect a double-collection speed boost and a lovely cherry blossom-themed background to really lean into that spring aesthetic.

Following that, the new mini-game 'Relic King' makes its debut from the 16th to the 22nd. It has been in the oven for about four months of testing and serves as the successor to the wildly popular 'Challenge! Fishing King'.

Relic King is a competitive affair where you go head-to-head with other players. The charming, animated Anipang Friends character, Mongi, takes center stage as the intrepid explorer. By clearing puzzles, you earn gear like pickaxes and drills to excavate the earth for relics. It is quite feature-rich, including 35 types of items—ranging from fossils to star fragments—a collection log, and an appraisal system to keep you busy.

Lee Kyung-min, PD of the Anipang 4 dev team, noted, "We hope the return of the Cherry Blossom Collection—now in its fourth year—coupled with the fresh Relic King event, will bring our players a unique taste of springtime joy in Anipang 4."
