I Am Jesus Christ is a simulation adventure where you step into the sandals of Jesus Christ, experiencing key New Testament events from a first-person perspective. You’ll roam an open world spanning ancient Israel—think Jerusalem and Galilee—and perform over 30 miracles, from healing the sick to walking on water. Naturally, you'll also run into various figures, including the disciples.

When it first surfaced in 2019, the game turned heads with a trailer showing off first-person miracle-working. Since then, the team has been busy—migrating to Unreal Engine 5, releasing a prologue to whet appetites, and smashing Kickstarter goals. After dropping a demo in July 2025, they finally set the full release for December.

As of the 3rd, the game sits at a 'Very Positive' rating on Steam (123 reviews, 88% positive). Players seem to appreciate that it treats the biblical narrative with a fair bit of sincerity rather than just playing it for laughs. There’s also an unexpected joy in wandering the open world with infinite stamina and zero fall damage. That said, some have voiced disappointment that certain elements, like the battles with Satan or specific interactions teased in earlier trailers, appear to have been cut or scaled back.

Meanwhile, Apex Legends saw its numbers dip to 148,417—roughly half of the previous day’s figures.
