Since the launch of Vampir, Bloodstain has remained the most consistent choice in terms of popularity. It kicked off in the number one spot and hasn't budged since. But as the saying goes, nothing blooms forever, and the immortal throne has developed a rather significant crack. The culprit? Viper, which clawed its way from the bottom of the rankings to claim the top spot. It seems the double server transfer window in early April and the class change season that kicked off on the 8th were the primary catalysts.

However, let's not get carried away—Viper hasn't exactly crushed Bloodstain into the dirt. Their market shares remain neck-and-neck. This is clearly visible in the server-specific popularity charts. As of the second week of April, Viper is dominating the Shima, Moarte, Razvi, Poame, and Lidel servers. It swept the number one spot across all sub-servers in Moarte and Razvi, while taking the top spot in two sub-servers each for Shima, Poame, and Lidel. In the remaining ones, it comfortably sat in the top three.

Conversely, in Olga, Oscar, and Lylith, Bloodstain and Carnage pushed Viper aside to secure higher rankings. The battle between Lylith and Dollingen remains a tight race. While Viper has ascended to the top, it’s hardly a monopoly. We can expect a fierce tug-of-war for popularity and market share between Bloodstain and Viper moving forward.

Overall Class Popularity

Let's take a closer look at the overall Vampir class distribution. Viper gobbled up another 1.0% point to claim the throne, while Bloodstain slipped one notch after losing 0.8% points. It seems the class change season really reshuffled the deck. If this shift marks the dawn of a new competitive landscape, things are going to get interesting.

Down in third place and below, Carnage managed to scrape together 1.6% points. It’s a positive sign, sure, but the gap with the top tier is still too wide to trigger any meaningful upset. Akasha and Grim Reaper have both lost ground, with the latter taking a particularly nasty hit. You’ll often see players clamouring for buffs to Grim Reaper on the forums, and I’m curious to see how Vampir handles the adjustment. After all, Viper’s own standing changed drastically after a few balance patches—and the same could easily happen for Akasha.

Global Server Class Popularity

Over on the Vampir Global server, Carnage is looking rather wobbly, having shed a massive 2.2% points. That lost ground flowed directly to the classes in third place and below—Bloodstain, Viper, and Grim Reaper. This has narrowed the gap between Carnage and Bloodstain to just 4% points. I expect these two to develop quite the rivalry on the global front.

All-Server Clan Ranking

We’ve tweaked the clan rankings slightly. We used to show the member count for the top 10 clans, but we've switched that to level. Why? Because we’ve seen plenty of lower-level groups snatching the number one spot or winning skirmishes. To sum up the general mood: 'cumulative experience is trending downwards' and 'let’s hold judgment for now.' Last week’s poll topic was about which character’s 'Blood Form' design looked the best. It was purely about aesthetics, completely ignoring performance metrics. Funnily enough, Bloodstain and Viper tied for first place. They’re competing for ranker dominance and fashion sense—truly, they are destined rivals.

Now, for this week’s topic. Vampir’s second-week update in April introduced new content: The Mausoleum and the Narichanye Valley.
