Clover Games, the studio best known for Lord of Heroes, has officially filed for corporate bankruptcy. This marks the end of the road for the company after eight years of operation. CEO Sung-guk Yoon stated that the decision was inevitable, citing persistent financial deterioration and a total depletion of funds that the firm could no longer navigate.

This grim news arrives just two months after the studio announced massive restructuring on February 13. At the time, the layoffs occurred less than ten days after the release of their new title, Heaven Hellz, leaving the future of the company and its live-service games in a state of deep uncertainty. Whispers of forced resignations covering the entire staff began to circulate shortly thereafter.
