Nimble Neuron announced on the 13th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the 2027 Chungcheong Universiade Organizing Committee and the Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency to promote cultural events linked to eSports. This partnership is designed to bolster the successful hosting of the 2027 Chungcheong Summer World University Games, while aiming to expand the reach of eSports within collegiate athletics.

The agreement was formalised in conjunction with the Eternal Return League Masters Season 10 Finals. Key figures in attendance included Organizing Committee Vice-Chairman Lee Chang-seop, Agency President Lee Eun-hak, and Nimble Neuron CEO Kim Seung-hoo.

Under this deal, the three parties will collaborate on hosting various cultural events, including eSports tournaments, while sharing the heavy lifting of operations and promotion. The Agency will handle venue management and event spaces, while Nimble Neuron plans to integrate its Eternal Return league into the wider event programme, leveraging their respective strengths to build a robust cooperation framework.

Vice-Chairman Lee Chang-seop remarked, "This agreement serves as a crucial milestone in creating a new international event model where sports, eSports, and culture converge. We intend to drive the success of the games through distinctive content that resonates with university students worldwide." President Lee Eun-hak added, "We are fully committed to helping eSports secure its place as a new frontier in university sports. By utilising Daejeon's eSports infrastructure and content expertise, we will revitalise cultural events and contribute to the overall success of the games." Nimble Neuron CEO Kim Seung-hoo commented, "It is truly meaningful to align our Eternal Return-based eSports content with the 2027 Chungcheong Universiade. We look forward to enhancing the event's appeal and cultural impact through a global eSports experience."
