Konami Digital Entertainment announced that its baseball game 'Professional Baseball Spirits 2026' will be released worldwide on July 16 for PS5 and Steam. This marks the first time a title in the 'Professional Baseball Spirits' series will feature Korean language support.

'Professional Baseball Spirits 2026' is the latest entry in Konami's long-standing franchise. Powered by the next-generation 'eBaseball Engine', the game delivers a realistic playing environment and presentation, capturing everything from hit trajectories and player movements to crowd roars and commentary. Additionally, it incorporates the latest 2026 Japanese professional baseball data, including rookie draftees, international signings, and returning players.

New content and modes have been added to provide players with a diverse baseball experience. In the '2026 World Baseball Classic' mode, players can encounter national teams and famous stars such as Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge, Ronald Acuna Jr., Juan Soto, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Randy Arozarena, and Jung-Hoo Lee. The game also features the actual final venue, loanDepot park, and includes the past World Baseball Classic-winning Japan national team as special content.

The Season mode introduces an 'Active Draft' system, allowing players to recruit new talent and reshape their rosters after the season concludes. The 'Haku No Kiseki' mode, which focuses on high school baseball, now includes the Designated Hitter (DH) rule. Other features such as Live Scenarios, Home Run Derby, Star Player mode, and Team Edit are also included.
