With the April dungeon ranking finale just two weeks away, the competition is well and truly in its mid-season swing. The publisher's decision to extend the 'Free Class Change' benefit has naturally kept everyone's eyes glued to the shifting stats. Amidst this chaos, some truly impressive new records have emerged. The reigning champions have managed to push their limits, breaking into the 10-second barrier. They are clearly showing no signs of slowing down in their sprint for the top spot.

Gun-gye-il-hak's 'Soul Fighter' team clocks a new record of 10.936 seconds!

The 'Nevada·Geum-son-juk-ge-jji' team, who lit up the dungeon race last March, has made history once again. By shaving 0.217 seconds off their previous best of 11.153, they have set a blistering new record of 10.936 seconds. This marks the first time in the history of the dungeon race that a team has dipped into the 10-second range. It is a testament to their persistence, keeping their Soul Fighter class composition while relentlessly chasing the dream.

In second place, we have the 'Ang-bam·Ppakk-gu-ya-nol-ja' team from the Dae-gi-man-seong server. They have recently tinkered with their lineup, shifting from the popular Soul Fighter meta to a 'Soul Fighter·Gunslinger' hybrid. While they are still more than a second behind the leaders, this experimentation adds a bit of spice to their approach. This week, they managed to shave off 0.391 seconds, putting them right on the doorstep of the 11-second mark.

The reason for this creative diversity at the top is largely down to Blade & Soul Revolution extending the free class change window by another week. Meanwhile, teams in the mid-to-high tiers seem to be holding steady, waiting to see which way the wind blows. Many, like the user 'Ppo-deuk' who sits at 20th, have spent the week without changing their class, rank, or record.

The choice for a low-point run: 'Twin Dagger·Gunslinger'

There was a massive balance adjustment covering 17 classes, with additional tweaks for 'Destroyer' and 'Assassin' last week. While this led to the extension of the free class change period, the actual class metrics have remained surprisingly static. The atmosphere is undeniably chaotic, but it seems most players are playing the waiting game to see how the dust settles before committing to a change.

Consequently, the top three classes in the dungeon rankings remain unchanged. 'Twin Dagger, Gunslinger, and Soul Fighter' still dominate, with these three accounting for a staggering 54.3% of the share. Specifically, Twin Dagger and Gunslinger saw their presence rise by 2.5% and 1.9% points, respectively, proving they are the current meta darlings. While the Soul Fighter share dipped slightly, they remain the preferred choice for those top-tier rankers we mentioned earlier.

Dungeon exploration period, all 24 class charts are ON

The fourth week of April's dungeon race chart is based on 548 valid entries, an increase of 131 from last week. However, when compared to the same period in previous dungeon races, the number is actually slightly down. It seems the free class change benefit is the culprit here; in Blade & Soul Revolution, changing your class requires you to run the dungeon again to post a new record. It is highly likely that many players are still getting to grips with their new classes and haven't managed to break the 1 minute 30 second threshold yet.

Despite this, all 24 classes are represented on the charts. However, there is one rather sad point to address: the Ghostblade is looking shaky again. While 'lKardia-l' from the Gun-gye-il-hak server managed to scrape onto the chart with a time of 1 minute 23.438 seconds, it is the only Ghostblade entry, which is a bit worrying. Every other class besides this one has managed to break the 1-minute barrier. Let us hope for more stable results next week.
