Pearl Abyss announced on the 23rd that they are opening applications for the '2026 World Invitational', a PvP tournament for Black Desert. This event is an expansion of the Korea-Japan exchange held in March 2024, now encompassing the broader Asian region. It is a friendly competition where adventurers from Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, and Southeast Asia will showcase their skills.

The tournament follows the 'Arena of Arsha' rules, featuring 3v3 team battles. To ensure fair play, all participants are provided with identical equipment and stats, focusing the competition on individual skill.

Teams must consist of three to four adventurers, each with a combined Attack and Defense score of at least 820. Applications were accepted until May 6th by purchasing an application form from the NPC 'Henlo' in the 'Battle Arena 1' server. The qualifying matches to determine the world representatives concluded on May 23rd. The top four teams from each region will advance to the main tournament, which begins on June 13th.

Korean adventurers will face off against Japanese adventurers, while teams from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau will compete against those from Thailand and Southeast Asia. The winning team will receive a permanent 'Glorious Arsha Awakening Weapon', 30,000 Cron Stones, an exclusive 'Winner of Arena of Arsha' title, and the 'Victory Diamond Ring'.
