On the 27th, Smilegate released the new episode 'Requiem of the End' for its mobile turn-based strategy RPG, Epic Seven, developed by Supercreative, alongside the introduction of 'Salome' as a new Moonlight hero.

The new main story is titled Episode 6 Part 1, 'Requiem of the End.' This chapter follows the story surrounding the 'Order of the Black Grail,' a secret organization orchestrated by Kayron. This episode features full voice acting for all story segments and introduces 'tile-based stages' and refined narrative presentation to enhance player immersion.

Salome, a key figure in the new episode, debuts as a Moonlight hero. As the sole survivor of the village of Rungrave and an enforcer for the Order of the Black Grail, she plays a central role in the narrative, struggling between the cult's dogma and her own past.

This character features a unique mechanic, a first for Epic Seven, allowing her to replicate an opponent's abilities and appearance. Her second skill, 'Salvation,' allows her to copy a target hero for one turn and utilize their abilities. While in this copied state, she can negate skill damage and secure an extra turn. By applying debuffs such as 'Collapse' and 'Defense Down,' she provides a new gameplay experience that turns an opponent's strengths against them.

Alongside this, several system improvements have been implemented. First, the maximum hero friendship level has been increased from 10 to 15. Starting with Salome, future heroes will provide exclusive illustrations as rewards upon reaching higher friendship levels. The new 'Mana Control' system allows players to efficiently enhance desired stats during equipment upgrades; by selecting a specific substat, that stat is excluded from growth during enhancement. Additionally, various changes have been applied, such as increased rewards for Guild War participation and improved information sharing among guild members.
