NetEase Games is recruiting participants for the Korean public test of its street basketball mobile game, NBA Dunk City. NBA Dunk City is the first mobile street basketball game to hold an official NBA license, and it is characterized by incorporating elements of the AOS genre into a basketball game.

Applications for the public test are open from noon on the 30th until May 6th. Interested participants can apply by completing the official site survey. The test will run for approximately two weeks from May 13th to May 26th, and the game will be available for pre-experience on both iOS and Android platforms. Users who complete designated missions during the test will receive an exclusive costume that can be used upon the official launch.

NBA Dunk City was released as a free-to-play mobile game in select global regions, including the US and Southeast Asia, last May, and it won the 'Best Multiplayer Game' award at the 2025 Google Play Awards. The game features over 40 NBA superstars, including LeBron James and Stephen Curry, and highlights the first-ever application of strategic AOS elements and progression mechanics to a basketball game.

Meanwhile, pre-registration for NBA Dunk City is also underway. NetEase plans to provide various rewards based on the number of pre-registrations achieved, including the superstar LaMelo Ball.
