Netmarble is hosting a nickname reservation event for its upcoming action-adventure RPG, 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad', on May 8.

Following its global debut last year, 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' is finally making its way to the domestic market. The title is set during the peak narrative era of the HBO series, specifically season 4. After a closed beta held from April 17 to 24, it received positive feedback for its weighty combat and faithful world-building, all leading up to a grand launch on May 21. The game will be available for early access on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store starting May 14.

The nickname reservation event will begin on May 8 at 2 PM. As each nickname is unique across all servers, competition is expected to be fierce.

A day prior, on May 7 at 8 PM, a special video will be released on the official YouTube channel. Jang Hyun-il, the PD at Netmarble Neo, plans to share his gratitude for the beta participation, reveal the results, and outline key updates based on player feedback.

Meanwhile, pre-registration for 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' is currently open on the official website. PC pre-registrants will receive a 'Northern Outfit' costume, a 'Potion Selection Pack', and a 'Night's Watch Supply Box'. Additionally, pre-registering via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store grants a 'Customization Change Ticket', while SMS pre-registration provides a 'Mount' and additional in-game currency.
