With patterns and difficulty levels that deviate from the norm, the meta for team compositions has shifted dramatically. A new Electric-code shotgun squad has emerged to tackle this menace. Solo Raid Top 50 Ranker Squad NIKKE Pick Rates

As of May 4th, here are the NIKKE picks for the Top 50 Solo Raid Ego Vista rankers. Every single one of these elite players utilized a pool of 12 NIKKEs: Moran, Anis: Sparkling Summer (hereafter, Dolnis), Arcana, Crown, Privaty, Anis: Sparkling Summer (hereafter, Sunis), Liberio, Cinderella, Snow White: Innocent Days (hereafter, Gaksul), Maiden: Icy Rose (hereafter, Kleden), Neon: Blue Ocean (hereafter, Neo Neon), and Isabel. The distribution sits at two Burst 1s, two Burst 2s, and eight Burst 3s.Keep in mind that with the raid still ongoing, these pick rates are subject to change.

Despite Ego Vista being weak to Electric code, units like Gaksul and 'Rapi: Red Hood' (hereafter, Rahu) have maintained high pick rates regardless of their non-superior element. It seems their raw stats, combined with their ease of intercepting projectiles and destroying parts, make them too good to pass up. Rahu, in particular, remains a staple thanks to her versatility in both Burst 1 and Burst 3.

Among the limited and special characters, Takina, Jill, Kleden, Diesel: Winter Wish (hereafter, Kldiesel), Ludmilla: Winter Owner, and Mari have all seen action. Mari, in a rare appearance due to the Electric-code weakness, was spotted in a few ranker lineups. Meanwhile, Kldiesel has been making waves in damage-over-time comps alongside 'Mihara: Bonding Chain' (hereafter, Ohara).

As for Neo Neon and Dolnis, their 100% pick rate proves their worth as the latest 3.5-anniversary units. Dolnis is a mainstay in the primary team, while Neo Neon has found a home in the 'Mast: Romantic Maid - Anchor: Innocent Maid' composition. If you're looking to push for a higher score before the raid concludes, investing in these anniversary units is a solid choice.

Ego Vista's patterns are both swift and punishing. The fearsome reputation of Graphic Group Lead Park Sang-hoo—affectionately dubbed 'Lab-beoji' by commanders—is truly on display here. In Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, most patterns can typically be avoided using 'taebo control' (dodging via manual cover). This usually allows players to maintain health and cover, bypassing the need for a dedicated healer. However, Ego Vista is having none of it, dealing massive, persistent damage that pierces through cover.The sword-thrusting attack specifically targets the NIKKE in the '3rd slot' first. Even the top-tier players who have consistently pushed for record scores have been forced to slot in a healer.

Keep a close eye on these patterns: The 'Severing Sword' attack triggers a long-duration stun upon impact, so you must intercept it. While auto-fire usually handles it, teams heavy on launcher units sometimes struggle to bring it down. Notably, Moran’s 'taunt and untargetable' mechanics are rendered useless here. There are two canceling patterns for Ego Vista: 'Severing: Type 1' in Phase 1 and 'Severing: Type 2' in Phase 2. Phase 1 lacks a code barrier, meaning non-Electric units can handle it, but you absolutely must use Electric-code NIKKEs to counter Phase 2. The window is tight; if your reload timing is off, you'll likely fail.

Champion Arena Top 8 Ranker Squad NIKKE Pick Rates

In the Season 28 Champion Arena, six out of eight players utilized Dolnis, ending the season with a 75% pick rate. Expect that number to hit 100% next season as more rankers finish their builds. It will be interesting to see if she can mirror her 100% pick rate from the Solo Raid in the arena.

As for Burst 2, 'Nero' made a rare appearance. Often overlooked in favor of Bay or Moran, she proved her worth by carrying a user into the Top 8. In the Burst 3 category, 'Vesti: Tactical Up' (hereafter, Tacti), Helm, Gaksul, and Scarlet took the lead. Scarlet’s usage is fluctuating, but she remains the undisputed queen of the Champion Arena. Privaty saw a boost thanks to her personal item, yet she is still struggling to break the 20% mark—simply crowded out by the newer, flashier units.

Let’s look at the squad of Eldimeyer, who took runner-up in this group. After a grueling battle in the finals against the previously featured 'Heungbun-sangtae', they fell just short in a 'win-loss-loss-loss-win' series. Both were using Dolnis, but Eldimeyer countered with a mix of Dolnis and Tacti. While Tacti came out on top in the firepower exchange, it was a pyrrhic victory as the rest of the squad was wiped out.

Many rankers swear by the 'Noise - Noah - Centi' or 'Moran - Bay - Biscuit' (Mor-Bay-Bis) combos. The former is all about rapid burst generation, while the latter focuses on pure survivability. The 'Mor-Bay-Bis' squad held firm against Scarlet decks, but even the 'No-No-Cen' setup was completely dismantled when faced with 'Mor-Bay-Bis + Gaksul'. Given they climbed all the way from the Top 32 to the finals, don't be surprised to see them taking the crown next season.

A new Electric Shotgun meta?

Electric-weak raids always bring out the shotgun squads. The 'Isabel - Arcana' core remains a first-tier choice. However, the usual suspects like 'Tove' and 'Drake' have been benched in favor of new faces.

The top-ranked player’s squad currently features 'Isabel - Arcana - Cinderella - Dolnis - Crown'. It’s the highest-scoring squad among the five. Dolnis’s cooldown reduction has effectively pushed Tove out of the meta, while Cinderella and Crown have been added to maximize damage potential. Many rankers have adopted this, and for good reason. If you’re aiming for that Top 3% finish, this is the blueprint you need to follow.
