Netmarble has rolled out a fresh batch of content for the Netmarble F&C-developed MMORPG, Arthdal Chronicles: Three Factions, marking its 2nd anniversary with a brand-new server dubbed 'Krabon' and the addition of Trial Dungeons.

The 'Krabon' server is being operated with a focus on 'pass-based' monetization. Players can acquire between one to four legendary mounts over a month of play, alongside a suite of rewards designed to fast-track progression.

The Trial Dungeon is a stage-by-stage gauntlet. Clearing these for the first time unlocks the new 'Relic' equipment, and you can keep running them for repeat rewards. As an incentive, every clear nets you a 'Dream Stone Summon Ticket'.

Speaking of these 'Relics', there are four types in total. The developers have designed them so that they can be acquired and leveled up purely through gameplay within the Trial Dungeons.

The world of Arthdal Chronicles: Three Factions is expanding, too. The 'Mantive' region—a crucial narrative junction that also brings a fresh visual aesthetic—has been added. You’ll also find the new world boss, 'Vargon', and fresh invasion zones in this area.

To celebrate the 2nd anniversary, Netmarble has implemented a raft of quality-of-life improvements. These include doubling party dungeon mileage, making the first weapon transmog change free, expanding sources for elemental essences, buffing drop rates in the 'Black Night Archipelago', and extending level-up rewards up to level 115.

Looking ahead, the team is preparing to retroactively address the frustration caused by failed synthesis and awakening attempts. Furthermore, a user-requested account gifting feature is slated to arrive alongside the upcoming 'Assassin' update.

To keep the momentum going, they are running six different events, including a 'Legendary Guaranteed Attendance!' campaign. Over 28 days, you’ll get a shot at a legendary mount summon every week. If you fail, you can collect shards from the attempts to guarantee the unlock. Expect more giveaways, including four re-synthesis tickets and special 2nd-anniversary spirit/mount bundles.
