Mgame announced on the 7th that it has added new content, the 'Tower of Avatar', to its 2D side-scrolling martial arts MMORPG, Ghost Online M, alongside events to celebrate the 'Month of Family'. This update focuses on strategic character utilization and supporting player progression.

The newly added 'Tower of Avatar' is a monthly challenge where players combine their characters to conquer up to 50 floors. 'Team Synergy' effects are triggered based on the job combinations and average levels of the characters participating. For example, registering five Warrior characters activates the 'Warrior 5-man buff', while registering three Taoist characters grants the 'Taoist 3-man buff'. Special currency earned from the Tower can be used in the 'Avatar Shop' to purchase growth support items. Key items in the shop include three types of 'Shining Jewel Boxes', the 'Soul Recovery Pill' which restores 100% of HP and MP, and the 'Inner Energy Pill', a recovery item exclusive to the Tower.

Additionally, a 'Monthly Subscription System' is being introduced to help accelerate character growth. Purchasing the subscription grants the 'Scroll of Growth' for 30 days, which increases EXP gain by 100%. For players level 120 and below, powerful buffs such as the 'Scroll of Stormy Growth', which boosts EXP gain by up to 200%, are provided. Various events are also being held to celebrate the Month of Family. In the 'Lantern Festival' event, which runs until the 21st of next month, players can collect 'Lotus Flowers' through daily missions to grow their 'Lantern' and receive the 'Buddha’s Blessing' buff. Furthermore, the 'Magic Carnation' event allows players to obtain character accessories like the 'Magic Carnation', alongside a 7-day attendance event and luck-based buff enhancements.

Cho Gwang-cheol, General Manager of Ghost Online M at Mgame, stated that this update focuses on "providing new fun by allowing users to strategically utilize the various characters they possess through the Tower of Avatar." He added, "We will continue to introduce large-scale updates sequentially, including high-level content for those above level 120 called 'Ghost Persona' and the cooperative 'Gong of Requiem' where the entire server works together."
