May's Ranking Dungeon season has kicked off with a bang. The lightning-fast 'Gunslinger · Spellblade' team has set a new overall record. The time to beat is 10.5 seconds, shaving 0.232 seconds off the previous best of 10.732. What's more, the previous record was held by a 'Spellblade' duo, considered the ultimate endgame powerhouse in Ranking Dungeons, making this new record with a different job combination even more intriguing. It seems the era of the Gunslinger and Spellblade combo is dawning once more in May.

In a similar vein, the job combinations of the rankers from 4th to 7th place are also drawing attention. With the exception of the 6th-place 'Sweet Pumpkin · Nevada' team, all others were 'Gunslinger · Spellblade' pairings. While the solo Spellblade team secured 2nd and 3rd place, demonstrating superior results, the Gunslinger-infused teams are aggressively closing the gap. The chart was a joy to explore, with a variety of other promising combinations like the 9th-place 'Mihogamsa · Gunslinger' and the 11th-place 'Blade Master · Spellblade'.

'Spellblade', The Pinnacle Job for Records, Maintains a Pace in the Low 10s

As seen in the overall server unified records, the job landscape among the top rankers has shifted slightly. This change is also evident in the TOP 10 Ranking Dungeon Job Distribution chart. The Gunslinger reclaimed the top spot, recording 22.4%, while the Bido Master settled at 20.9%, taking a breather. The latter tends not to push too hard for Ranking Dungeon records, so we might see them sit out for a week.

Conversely, the Spellblade, known for its competitive drive in dungeon races, consistently maintains its pace. This time, they achieved a job distribution of just over 10%, firmly holding onto their 3rd position. Following closely, the 'Archer' and 'Artilleryman' experienced slight drops in their distribution. Nevertheless, they didn't allow any rank reversals. In the lower ranks, 'Lyn Blade Master', 'Blade Master', and 'Yin Yang Master' were engaged in a close contest. In the first tally of May, the Yin Yang Master fell behind, dropping out of the chart.

'Blade Master' Makes a Comeback to the Chart!

The first Ranking Dungeon chart for May saw a total of 464 rankers successfully entering within the 1 minute and 30-second threshold. This is slightly higher than the usual number of participants in the first week's tally. Fortunately, this allowed for every job to be represented on the charts. The Blade Master, which had been inconsistent in April, managed to fill all top 3 slots. While they always start strong, their records remain a bit precarious. Excluding 'David', who set a time in the 55-second range, the other two rankers exceeded the one-minute mark.

Additionally, the presence of only one player for the Kŭmgangsa and two for the Jujutsu Master is slightly concerning. However, both of these jobs managed to secure their spots within the one-minute mark, offering more reassurance than the Blade Master. With no job-related updates expected before the end of May, the current atmosphere is likely to persist. There's even a possibility that the Ranking Dungeon conclusion might coincide with the release of a new job, so we'll have to keep a close eye on the charts until the very end. Adieu.
