Lineage Classic is launching the 'Clean Campaign: Guardian of May' to root out abnormal accounts.

Players can participate in the campaign by using the in-game reporting tool to flag characters suspected of using macros or unauthorized third-party software. The campaign runs from the regular maintenance on Wednesday, May 6, until the maintenance on Thursday, June 4, with top contributors selected based on verified reports.

Active participants can earn rewards based on their contribution, categorized into three tiers. The top reporter on each server will be selected as a 'Legendary Guardian,' receiving a special title with a unique effect, 10 'Metis's Lunchboxes' (expiring on Wednesday, June 24), and additional consumable items. The 'Legendary Guardian' title lasts for 30 days and can be equipped alongside existing titles.

The 100 'Elite Guardians' with high reporting rates will receive five Metis's Lunchboxes and consumable items, while 10,000 'Apprentice Guardians' who submit at least one valid report will receive consumable items. Rewards will be distributed following the maintenance on Wednesday, June 10.

Meanwhile, Lineage Classic has taken action against approximately 4.8 million accounts from the start of the clean campaign in April until the maintenance on Wednesday, May 6. This includes a massive sweep on April 16, which saw about 150,000 accounts sanctioned. The game is also implementing new real-name verification measures to prevent the entry of abnormal accounts.
