Hanwha Life Esports, currently holding a 10-match winning streak and the sole lead, will face Dplus KIA and KT Rolster in Week 7. Having climbed to 1st place with an 11-1 record, they will take on Dplus KIA on the 15th, followed by a rematch against KT Rolster on the 17th, who were their main rivals for the lead at the end of the first round.

If Hanwha Life Esports wins both matches in Week 7, they will reach a 12-match winning streak, setting a new franchise record. As their 11-match winning streak in 2025 was ended by a loss to KT Rolster, attention is focused on whether they can overcome that past disappointment. KT Rolster, whose momentum was halted by a 0-2 loss to Hanwha Life Esports on April 29th while aiming for a first-round sweep, also views this match as highly significant.

The 'Saturday Showdown' on the 16th will feature a big match between Gen.G and T1. This clash is a traditional rivalry that extends beyond the LCK to the entire League of Legends esports scene, and with 2nd place on the line this season, a fierce battle is expected.

Gen.G, who were mentioned as title favorites during the opening media day, stumbled early after a loss to Dplus KIA but have since secured six consecutive wins from the latter half of the first round to the present, maintaining their 2nd place position. Having regained their momentum, Gen.G plans to continue their winning streak by defeating their rivals, T1.

T1 has shown a similar trajectory to Gen.G. After alternating wins and losses in the early first round, T1 went on a four-match winning streak starting from the match against Kium DRX, and after a second-round loss to Hanwha Life Esports, they are back on a winning track. T1 is currently in 4th place (8-4), chasing 2nd-place Gen.G (9-3) by one game.

The two teams, who did not meet in the 2026 LCK Cup, saw Gen.G shut out T1 in the first round of the regular season. As both Gen.G head coach Yoo Sang-wook and T1 acting head coach Im Jae-hyeon emphasized the importance of pick-and-ban strategy at the time, a fierce tactical battle is expected in this matchup.

Hanwha BRIO, currently on a four-match winning streak and an eight-set winning streak, is challenging to break their team record against lower-ranked DN Supers and Kium DRX.
