Operational Guide: Decoupling Growth and Competition

Arthdal Chronicles recently shared their future operational plans via a dev note. The studio’s goal, supposedly, is to provide a smooth, comfortable environment for players. The idea is to make sure you can pursue endless growth—not just through pulling gacha or heavy monetization, but by playing the game and utilising the marketplace. They aim to create a cycle where profits from these trades flow back to the players, fuelling further growth and gameplay. They claim they are aiming for a 'game where play equals progress' and will continue to iterate to keep the experience fresh for the long haul.

Addition of Growth Guide Chapter 8

A new chapter, Growth Guide Chapter 8, has been added, offering some decent rewards for finishing the tasks. It unlocks once you’ve cleared Chapter 7 and hit character level 90. Completing it nets you goodies like a Hero Armor Selection Chest, Rare Skill Selection Chest, 11x Shining Awakening Summons, and High-grade Abrasives.

Q. How many tokens are needed for a 2nd Awakening?
A. You’ll need 120 Awakening Tokens.

For the 1st Awakening of Spirits and Mounts, you need 50 tokens. For the 2nd, it jumps to 120. If you’ve ever pulled a Mythic mount or spirit, dismantled it, and went straight for a 2nd Awakening, you likely had the 20 tokens from the pull plus the 100 from the dismantle, hitting that 120 count. But if you get a Mythic through re-synthesis, you don't get those 20 tokens.Because of this, dismantling only leaves you with 100 tokens, leaving you 20 short for the 2nd Awakening. If you’re desperate to awaken, it is recommended to supplement the missing 20 tokens with 540 Legendary Awakening Tokens.

Q. Are there really no treasure chests at the entrance of Mantive?
A. There are actually 10 hidden treasure chests.

Every region in Arthdal Chronicles hides 10 treasure chests, and the Mantive entrance added in the 2nd-anniversary update is no exception. Just keep in mind that this is a low-60s level area, so the loot isn't as grand as what you'd find elsewhere. Check the contents before you go hunting. Growth Boost Applied to Crabon Server

To celebrate its 2nd anniversary, Arthdal Chronicles opened a new server, Crabon, on the 6th. It’s been packed with new and returning players. To help everyone catch up, they’ve applied a growth boost: silver, experience, and item drop rates are all doubled. The event runs until 11:59 PM on the 19th, so make the most of that rapid progression while you can.
