KRAFTON has announced the PUBG Global Series (PGS) Circuit 2. This event serves as a global esports tournament for 'PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS', where 24 teams will compete over three weeks for a total prize pool of 500,000 USD and PGC points required to qualify for the PUBG Global Championship (PGC). The tournament, which kicked off on May 20, is the second international PUBG esports event of the year.

PGS Circuit 2 operates by linking three series into a single circuit. Performance in each tournament is accumulated toward the circuit rankings, and the winner of Circuit 2 will be determined at the final series, PGS 6. The competition began with PGS 4, held from May 20 to 24. This will be followed by Series 5 from May 28 to 31, with group assignments determined by previous performance.

PGS 6 will be held from June 4 to 7, where 16 teams will compete for the Circuit 2 title based on their combined scores from the previous two series. All matches will begin at 14:00 on May 20 for the group stage, and at 19:00 on all other match days.

A total of 24 teams are participating in this tournament, consisting of 12 global partner teams and 12 teams invited from regional series. Participants include Circuit 1 overall champion Virtus.pro, as well as teams that have proven their skills in regional leagues, such as Crazy Raccoon, Danawa e-sports, Gen.G, and T1. KRAFTON has also introduced a new third-person perspective and updated broadcast programs this year.

Matches will be broadcast on the official PUBG esports YouTube channel, SOOP, and Chzzk. During each series, a 'Player of the Day' event will be held where fans can vote for the best player, and participants will have a chance to win 500 G-Coin through a lucky draw. Prize promotions for stream viewers are also planned for the final day of the circuit.
