Wargaming announced that its new title, 'World of Tanks: HEAT', will launch on PC and consoles on May 26.

Set in the post-WWII era, World of Tanks: HEAT is a new free-to-play tank shooter. It offers fast-paced, dynamic, team-based vehicular combat.

A release date cinematic trailer was also unveiled. It was directed by Ilya Naishuller, the director behind 'Nobody' and 'Hardcore Henry', with music by the indie rock band Biting Elbows.

The game was built on a new in-house engine, providing responsive gameplay, modern visuals, and immersive environments optimized for smooth performance across various hardware.

At launch, players can perform three roles—Defender, Attacker, and Sniper—and operate two tanks specialized for each role. The game features 8 agents, 15 tanks customizable with modules and gear, 8 maps designed to support various playstyles across different ecosystems and backgrounds, and 4 PvP modes: Conquest, Point Capture, Domination, and Deathmatch.

'World of Tanks: HEAT' will be available on May 26 for PC (via Wargaming Game Center and Steam), Steam Deck, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and NVIDIA GeForce Now. It supports cross-platform play and cross-progression.
