Nexon announced on the 22nd that South Korean teams will compete in the EA Sports FC Online global tournament, 'FC Pro Masters 2026'. The tournament will be held in Shanghai, China, from May 28th to 31st, where the South Korean representatives will compete for a total prize pool of $150,000 and ranking points required to advance to the top-tier club championship.

FC Pro Masters 2026 is a club tournament featuring representative players from four countries: South Korea, China, Thailand, and Vietnam. Each country will send two teams, and the tournament will consist of a group stage followed by a semi-final playoff stage. The top-tier club championship, the FC Pro Champions Cup, will be held from October 13th to 18th with a total prize pool of $300,000, with the venue to be announced at a later date.

The group stage will be conducted in a round-robin format where all teams in a group face each other once. Each match consists of three games, and the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. From the semi-finals onwards, the tournament will follow a best-of-five single-elimination format, with the final match played as a best-of-seven. Representing South Korea are GEN CITY and T1, who placed 1st and 2nd respectively in the 2026 FTB Spring held in April, and they are aiming for the championship.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the participation of the South Korean teams in FC Pro Masters 2026, Nexon is hosting a drops event that offers various rewards to users who watch the matches via the SOOP channel.
