The annual 'Warhammer Skulls' showcase, hosted by Games Workshop, has hit its 10th-anniversary milestone. To mark the occasion, a massive Steam sale has kicked off, resulting in a Warhammer-infused invasion of the top-selling charts.

Stealing the spotlight is the revival of the Dawn of War series with 'Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4'. After the radio silence since the third entry in 2017, the game teased details at Gamescom 2025. Now, with a confirmed release date of September 18 and a flurry of DLC details, it has debuted at number 9 following the start of pre-orders.

Meanwhile, 'Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus 2' dropped as a surprise launch during the showcase and climbed straight to 5th place in revenue. While the original saw you leading the Adeptus Mechanicus against the Necrons, this sequel lets you choose your faction. However, early adopters are finding the performance a bit rough, leaving the user reviews in 'Mixed' territory for now.

Older titles also saw a surge thanks to deep discounts. 'Total War: Warhammer 3' took 6th place, bolstered by an 85% price cut and fresh teasers for its upcoming content. Right behind it at 7th is 'Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2', which is riding a 70% discount and a new PvE mission update dubbed 'Purgation'.

Elsewhere, the newly released 'Zero Parade: For Dead Spy' claimed 8th place. Coming from the developers of Disco Elysium, this point-and-click espionage RPG has been met with 'Mostly Positive' reviews, though some players are raising eyebrows regarding the audio implementation.

In the concurrent player charts, Limbus Company secured 20th place with 70,908 players after wrapping up its latest update. Meanwhile, Forza Horizon 6 continues its upward trajectory, hitting 284,139 players as the weekend approaches.
