Webzen has been honoured with the 'ESG Sharing Company Award' by Gyeonggi Fruit of Love for 2026.

The ESG Sharing Company Award is a commendation presented by Gyeonggi Fruit of Love to companies that practice ESG management and contribute to the spread of a donation culture. Webzen has been recognised for its contributions to bridging the gap in coding education for youth and fostering a healthy game culture, marking its fourth consecutive year of receiving this award from 2023 to 2026. The company plans to continue its sharing activities in connection with the local community.

Among Webzen's flagship social contribution activities is the 'Youth Coding Workshop with Webzen,' conducted in partnership with the Seongnam Youth and Young Adult Foundation. This initiative, launched in 2017, aims to dispel negative perceptions of gaming and provide equitable educational opportunities for young people. It offers coding education linked to curriculum subjects for elementary school students, and for high school coding club members, it organises an ICT invention contest where they compete with outcomes based on their learned coding skills.

In addition, Webzen runs the 'Game Over-reliance Prevention Program' to help elementary school students who face issues with game and media overuse improve their self-regulation skills. Starting last year, a family-oriented intensive program was established, expanding the educational scope to include parents. This year, the focus was on increasing parental participation in programs designed to prevent conflicts with children who play games and foster relationship recovery through education.

Webzen will continue its sharing activities for youth coding education and game culture creation this year. To this end, a donation for its 2026 social contribution projects has been made to Gyeonggi Fruit of Love, with the entire amount allocated to the collaborative projects with the Seongnam Youth and Young Adult Foundation.
