Wargaming announced on the 26th that its new free-to-play tank shooter, 'World of Tanks: HEAT,' will be launching on PC and consoles.

Built on Wargaming's proprietary new engine, World of Tanks: HEAT plunges players into thrilling tank combat set in the post-World War II era, featuring unique agents and experimental tanks.

You'll start by playing as three agents: the defender Chopper, operating the M1E1; the attacker Kent, wielding the XM1 90; and the sniper Hound, utilising the Leo 1A6A1. At launch, five free weekly Battle Passes will be available, allowing you to unlock an additional five agents and tanks.

Beyond that, expect 15 customisable tanks kitted out with modules and equipment, eight maps designed to accommodate diverse playstyles across various ecosystems, backgrounds, and visual styles, and four PvP modes including Domination, Conquest, Assault, and Annihilation.

World of Tanks: HEAT will be playable on PC (via Wargaming Game Center and Steam), Steam Deck, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and NVIDIA GeForce NOW. Cross-platform play and cross-progression are supported.
