HoYoverse announced on the 26th that Honkai: Star Rail's 4.3 update, titled 'Sands of Dreams, Sands of Dreams', will arrive on June 1st. This update introduces the new 5-star character 'Blade', alongside an expanded storyline, various events, and new content.

The Trailblazer will enter the world within the painting with Blade, facing the threat of the 'Asat Pramad' of the Annihilation Squad and the seal of the Aeon 'Avidya'. Here, they'll experience the culmination of Blade's long-standing destiny. Joining the roster as a new playable character is the 5-star **Fire** character of The Abundance Path, 'Blade'.

'Blade' unleashes a special barrier upon using his Ultimate, entering an enhanced state. While this barrier is active, enemies take increased damage. In his enhanced state, he gains new combat skills and a more potent Ultimate. Additionally, whenever an ally attacks an enemy, Blade debuffs them and accumulates special charges. Once these charges are full, one combat skill automatically activates, and his energy is further replenished.

Accompanying the update is the new event, 'Gift of the Forged Sword'. Players who obtain 'Blade' through the Warp during this event will receive the new outfit for the body, 'Crimson Ashes of the Past', for free. The first half of the Warp event will feature a rerun of Himeko, while the second half will see a limited-time return of Kafka and Pela. Furthermore, a new version event, 'Lingering Dream Amusement Park', set in the world within the painting, will be unveiled. Players will take on the role of 'Lead Planner', designing amusement facilities and routes to encourage Lingering Dreams' visits and experiences.

Beyond this, new 'Starlight Stage' modes are being added to 'Memory of Chaos', 'Simulated Universe', and 'Echo of War'. In this mode, players can form three teams to clear three different stages with full stars, earning an additional 100 Stellar Jade per stage, for a total of 300 Stellar Jade.

Meanwhile, a global collaboration between Honkai: Star Rail and electronics brand UGREEN has been revealed, and the 'Holy Grail War' is set to recommence this summer.
