NC is rolling out a major content update for its MMORPG Lineage 2M, dubbed 'REQUIEM: Blade Dance Commanding the Battlefield'. Starting from the 27th, players can dive into the 'REQUIEM: Blade Dance Commanding the Battlefield' update, featuring a rebooted Dual Blade class with new skills and improvements, a new time attack raid 'Mimir's Laboratory', and Interlude Coupons packed with various benefits.

The Dual Blade class has seen a significant overhaul of its skills. Dance of Might now stacks beneficial effects for party members up to three times upon landing an attack. Sentinel Sword (formerly Split Slash) has been revamped to reduce skill damage with generated swords, offering immunity to knockback effects, either periodically or upon successful hits. Laser Slash (formerly Triple Slash) has also been re-imagined with its regular attacks now capable of hitting multiple targets. Players can also learn the new skill Sonic Rush, which deals damage after leaping to a target.

To celebrate the Dual Blade reboot, Lineage 2M is offering a free class change until June 10th, allowing players to switch their characters to any desired class. Note that class changes after July 1st will be restricted to swapping skills and artifacts of the same grade. Additionally, a time attack raid for up to eight players, 'Mimir's Laboratory', has been added. Players will face the boss monster Mimir within a time limit, with successful raids rewarding players with a chance to obtain a magnificent mount. Completing all missions in the dedicated season pass will also grant a new rare grade mount.

NC has plans to expand the Origin World with the second floor of the underwater garden, 'Muloreum Plaza', introduce the 'Burning Valley' to the Reserve World, and add the 'Tower of Faith' to the Laul Death Knight server. Various events are also being held to commemorate the update. 'Blessing of Alchemy' (Origin World) and 'Blessing of Dungeon' (Reserve World) allow players to acquire materials for permanent event collections through alchemy. The 'Phoenix Appearance' event will let players defeat the 'Invader Phoenix of the Rift' to obtain materials for crafting the 'Phoenix Soul'. Players can also enjoy 'Triple Time', which triples the usage time and experience gain in the 'Destroyed Fortress', and boosts the reward acquisition rate in 'Undine's Temple'. A raid event, 'Zaken Back Attack', featuring the boss monster Zaken, is also scheduled.

NC is providing five types of Interlude Coupons per server, each filled with various benefits including the creation of exclusive Agathions. Existing server users will receive coupons for content Agathion crafting, transcendent mythic class, master class, master Agathion, and class promotion. Users on the Laul Death Knight server will receive coupons for content Agathion crafting, master class, master Agathion, class promotion, and class. Reserve World users will receive coupons for content Agathion crafting, master class, class promotion, class, and Agathion.
