Smilegate announced on the 27th that it has updated the new story 'A Girl's Nightmare' and additional content for its roguelike RPG Chaos Zero Nightmare, hereafter referred to as 'Kazena', as part of Season 3 of the Galactic Cataclysm.

The new story, 'A Girl's Nightmare,' is the second chapter of Season 3, 'The Song Echoing in the Galaxy.' The narrative unfolds as suspicious incidents occur aboard the 'Edenity,' revealing secrets surrounding the main character, Adelheid.

Adelheid has also joined as a new combatant. She is a defensive Vanguard class character with the Void attribute, possessing the ability to grant 'Blessing' to allied cards, thereby acquiring shields. Partner Clara, updated alongside Adelheid, enhances the defense of her designated combatant and provides fixed healing when using Blessing cards applied by that combatant.

In conjunction with this, the first half of the 'Great Rift' content has commenced, and the second supply depot has opened, allowing players to obtain various rewards such as Omega Codes. The Great Rift has removed the previous restriction requiring the use of only the current season's save data, significantly expanding save data selection options. Using season save data grants additional points.

Season 2 of the 'All-Out War' content, where players form three teams to hunt bosses, has also begun. The key to success lies in strategically deploying combatants according to each boss's characteristics. Rewards include Crystals and growth resources.

System improvements have also been implemented. In the roguelike content 'Expedition,' the special effects granted to randomly selected combatants have been further enhanced, increasing the importance of strategic utilization. Additionally, an auto-battle function has been introduced for Chaos gameplay, and a new Core has been added to allow equipment editing for acquired save data.

Smilegate is running several events to commemorate the update. Two events, where players team up with the new combatant Adelheid to defeat monsters and earn various Cores and Crystals for save data editing, will run until June 17th. The 'Expedition Operation Support' event, which rewards players for playing Expedition, is available until June 22nd.

Kim Ju-hyung, Director at Smilegate, stated, "We expect this update will make the Season 3 story even more three-dimensional and engaging," adding, "We are also continuously working to enhance the game's completeness, including the introduction of Chaos auto-battle and improvements to Expedition."
