Blomics has officially launched 'Fortress 3 Blue', a new shooting game developed by CCR, for both PC and mobile platforms.

Fortress 3 Blue marks the 30th anniversary of the Fortress series and is the first new installment for PC in 12 years. It inherits the combat mechanics of the beloved Fortress 2 Blue, considered the series' most popular entry, and features over 20 iconic characters from the franchise.

The game supports both a real-time combat-focused 'Real-time Mode' with 4K graphics and a 'Turn Mode' for strategic play. Real-time Mode is designed for quick, fast-paced battles, with each match concluding in under 100 seconds.

Key content has also been added to coincide with the official launch. Three new characters are joining the fray: Mechapunch, who utilises diverse combat styles through transformation; Evil Bella, characterised by her use of blood and bats; and Baseball Boy, who employs striking attacks with a ball.

The popular Fortress unit 'Super Tank' receives its first new item in six years, and a pro-league system has been introduced, featuring continuously running tournaments based on individual and clan battles.

In addition, the growth system, which provides rewards based on play progression, has been improved, and the tutorial has been enhanced for new users to ease their adaptation. An event mode, where players can earn rewards by participating during specific times, and a trial mode to experience new characters are also available.

Fortress 3 Blue supports PC and mobile cross-platform play. The game's completeness and service stability were assessed through its PC early access period, which began on December 31st of last year.

A launch celebration event is also underway. Upon first login, players will receive representative tanks like Cannon, Carrot, and Multitank, along with exclusive items and in-game currency. For the following seven days, a special attendance event will offer a chance to acquire legendary characters daily. Over 10 days, daily coupon reveals will provide in-game currency and items.

Events are also taking place on the official community channels, including a 'guess the nostalgic Fortress BGM' event using music from Fortress 2 Blue, and a strategy and tips sharing event.

Yoon Suk-ho, the Chief Producer who has personally overseen all Fortress series titles since 1995, stated, "Fortress 3 Blue has been realised to match the latest play environment while preserving the series' fun and sentiment.
