Netmarble has rolled out a major update for Blade & Soul Revolution on the 28th, featuring an engine swap, among other significant changes.

This substantial overhaul sees the game's engine upgraded from Unreal Engine 4 to the latest Unreal Engine 5. Alongside this graphical leap, a brand-new class, the '환술사' (Illusionist), and a fresh server named '유일무이' (Unique & Matchless) have also been introduced.

The Illusionist class is designed to disrupt enemies by blurring the lines between reality and fantasy. With delayed attacks, blink-like teleports utilising illusions, and abilities that maximise incapacitation effects, this class is poised to be a linchpin in breaking enemy formations during large-scale Faction Wars. To help players get to grips with this new addition, Netmarble is offering a 'Free Class Change Coupon'.

The new 'Unique & Matchless' server is geared towards helping both new and returning players find their footing, offering generous growth support benefits. Players will receive a starter pack, a growth guide, and can even secure Mythic-tier equipment – the highest rarity – through mission completion.

Character customisation has also seen a significant boost. The range of options for facial features, eye colours, and skin tones has been expanded, with new hairstyles and dyeing functions added. For the Lyn race, a more slender and elongated body type has been introduced, along with customisation options for ears and tails.

Further enhancements include a costume dyeing system and the addition of new 'Unique' grade Guardian Spirits. These Unique spirits can be ascended using 5-stage transcendent Mythic [Extreme] Guardian Spirits as the primary material.

Running until mid-July, players can look forward to four Revolution coupons and a login event offering further growth benefits. Additionally, meeting the 'Mysterious Photographer' NPC in the field and completing quests will grant the 'Pohwarang's Restoration Stone Selection Box', alongside an event offering schematics for Mythic equipment upgrades.
