The latest entry in the series, 'Fire Emblem: Manjacheonhong', which first teased us back in September, has finally locked in its release date for 17 September.

The news dropped during the Nintendo Direct on the 9th. As the 18th instalment in the franchise, Manjacheonhong takes us to the 'Digda Empire', a land prospering under the rule of the gods. When the empire announces the 'Grand Gladiator Festival'—a contest promising to grant any wish to the victor—four warriors from across the realm, Kai, Dietrich, Theodora, and Leda, step up to claim their destiny.

Since its debut in 1990, the Fire Emblem series has remained a Nintendo staple, beloved for its tactical combat and narrative depth. With its blend of character bonds, branching paths, and intricate unit synergy, it has built a fiercely loyal following. The 2019 entry, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, further cemented this, proving the series still has plenty of life left in it.

Fire Emblem: Manjacheonhong is set for a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive release, and yes, it will officially support Korean language.
