Look, let's be honest: RedLab Games is pushing the envelope for their MMORPG, 'ROM: Remember of Majesty', with the Episode 5: Dark Realm update arriving on the 11th. At the heart of this expansion is the 'Dark Realm'—a fresh chunk of content that unlocks once you hit specific criteria. Split into regions of Void, Blood, Greed, and Betrayal, each comes with its own peculiar rules and entry requirements, all situated within the cross-world hub where every server's players congregate.

The update also introduces costume-specific artifacts that you can slot in to give your stats a cheeky boost. They're expanding the crafting system with 'Shining Crafting Stones' and an auto-crafting feature, alongside a fresh batch of costumes and guardians exclusive to Episode 5. To help both the greenhorns and the veterans catch up, they’re also opening a gold-focused growth server named 'Belva' on the same day.

Over on the Belva server, you’ll be handed a 'Calderas Jumping Pass', which should help you zip your character up to level 65 in no time. To sweeten the deal, there’s the 'Belva's Blessing' buff that cranks up your XP, gold gains, and item drop rates by 500 percent, plus a dedicated gold shop to spend your hard-earned loot. RedLab Games is also running the 'Pledge of Gratitude' event, handing out various scrolls based on your cumulative summons and diamond spending.

Players can dive into the Episode 5 'Protection' event to grab equipment restoration scrolls using in-game currency, or simply check in daily for the Episode 5 'Blessing' event rewards. Don't forget, there are also rewards waiting for those who participate in the pre-registration event running until the 25th.

For the record, ROM made the switch to a self-service model on May 28th. If you're an existing player, you can carry on with your data intact without the faff of a full re-install—just follow the simple migration steps and you're good to go.
