Furthermore, in an attempt to polish the experience, the developers have buffed the stats of the faction war's mountable 'beopgi' and squashed a swarm of bugs that had been lingering since the last major update.

The Tower of Trials, introduced in this latest update, is a seasonal challenge accessible to any player at Hongmoon Level 1 or higher. It's a strictly solo affair where you're tasked with clearing out monsters within a set time limit to climb to the next floor.

For this opening season, the tower stretches to 40 floors. The game keeps tabs on your 'Recommended CP' and 'Overwhelming CP' to dictate your path. If your current power falls short of the recommended bar, you'll be slapped with the 'Trial Debuff', making life significantly harder. Conversely, exceeding the threshold grants you the 'Tower's Blessing' for a smoother run. And for those who are truly over-geared? You can simply hit the 'Sweep' button to skip the grind entirely.

The rewards are one-off per season for each floor. The haul includes some rather useful loot for character progression, such as 200 'Legendary Martial Tome Fragments', various Mythic Martial Tome Stone Plates, 'Growth Taegeuk Gem Chests', and 'Mythic Equipment Selection Chests' (excluding PvP gear).

The 'Challenge Your Limits!' mission event is running alongside the tower's debut. By completing tasks—ranging from a single entry to clearing the 20th floor—you'll bag various rewards. If you manage to finish all the missions, you'll walk away with an 'Unknown Mythic Upgrade Pattern Selection Chest 2'. The event window mirrors the current season, running from June 11 until the update scheduled for late November.

Elsewhere, the faction wars have received a bit of a shake-up with boosted stats for the mountable beopgi, aimed at dialling up the intensity. The team has also pushed an optimisation patch to fix a host of graphical glitches that cropped up after the recent Unreal Engine 5 upgrade.
