Look, let’s be honest: Smilegate, alongside developer Supercreative, has expanded their mobile turn-based strategy RPG, Epic Seven, with the addition of a new hero, 'Ludwig of Dawn', on the 12th.

Ludwig of Dawn is a key figure from the game's Episode 6, 'Requiem of the End', representing the last surviving member of the Night Clan. While preparing a journey to honour his fallen kin, he finds himself recruited by the protagonist Ras to track down a clandestine organisation known as the Black Grail.

In terms of gameplay, he enters the fray as an Ice-element 5-star Ranger. His kit revolves around a unique buff called 'Dawn', which accelerates Soul acquisition, allowing him to dump massive AoE damage onto the opposition. Once you trigger his signature skill, 'White Night', he gains the Dawn effect, doubling Soul gain while also sporting a cheeky chance to stun enemies.

His other trick, 'Moonlight', links directly into 'Light of Judgment' while he is under the Dawn state. 'Light of Judgment' consumes every single Soul you have saved up to slam the entire enemy team, with its attack potency scaling aggressively based on the total number of Souls spent.
