This Stage 2 is all about determining who gets to represent the region at the ultimate Valorant showdown, Champions Shanghai. Running for roughly nine weeks until September 6, it follows the Stage 1 qualifiers for Masters London. This time, there are three tickets to Shanghai up for grabs, with partner teams and Challengers squads set to collide.

The structure involves two groups—Alpha and Omega—with six teams in each. The top two from each group bypass the headache of the play-ins and head straight to the playoffs. Meanwhile, the remaining eight teams must navigate the newly introduced play-in stage. This stage will also welcome the top four teams from the WDG Valorant Challengers Korea Split 2, all battling it out in a double-elimination tournament for four remaining playoff spots.

Once the dust settles, those four survivors join the four direct qualifiers in the playoffs. The grand finale of the event, including the lower bracket final and the ultimate grand final, will head down to Busan. Four teams will finally earn their stripes for Champions Shanghai: the two finalists from the Busan event, Paper Rex (PRX) who already punched their ticket via Masters London, and one additional team based on accumulated championship points.
