On the 25th, Webzen updated its MMORPG, R2 Origin, with the new 'Baalbek' transformation. This update includes the addition of the Baalbek transformation, a new Chaos Dungeon, and a gear set effect system.

The newly added Baalbek is the second 'Ancient' grade transformation to be introduced, following Jupiter. As the highest grade of transformation in the game, a total of four versions are added, one for each class. Like Jupiter, Baalbek can only be obtained through 'Bond Synthesis'.

Along with this, the new Chaos Dungeon 'Citadel of the Firmament', where players from all servers can compete, has been unveiled. Powerful boss monsters appear in this dungeon, and defeating them allows players to obtain new legendary gear, skill books, and various crafting materials. Additionally, a gear set effect system has been added; equipping a certain number of items from a set grants bonus stats, expanding the utility of equipment. Furthermore, convenience improvements for the Spot Conquest system and adjustments to the status ailment UI have been implemented.

Webzen has prepared two new events to commemorate this update. First, starting from the 25th, rewards will be given to the top 10 players who defeat the most monsters in the new 'Citadel of the Firmament' dungeon. Depending on the ranking, various items such as Noble Shining Imprint Stones and Flames of the Soul will be provided.

Following this, an 'Event Transformation Pass' will run until July 9th. Players can use gold to activate the attendance log and receive daily login rewards. Depending on the cumulative number of days logged in, up to 125 transformation summon tickets, ranging from standard to hero-grade, will be provided.
