Pan Studio rolled out the second half of the 1.4 update, titled 'Racing Stars', for their fantasy RPG 'Duet Night Abyss' on the 30th.

This update introduces a new playable character, 'Hilda'. Sporting a maid aesthetic and wielding fire-elemental ranged attacks, Hilda can be obtained via the limited-time 'Request Letter' event, alongside the exclusive weapon 'Feast of Flames'. Furthermore, Hilda and the signature weapon have been added to the 'Immersive Play' limited rewards.

Alongside this, the new costume content 'Corridor of Voices' brings fresh threads for Lynn and Madame Knife, titled 'Promise of the Holy 7 Days', accompanied by seasonal content packed with various rewards.

The game's scope has also seen a significant expansion. The main story 'Night Voyage Chapter 3: Racing Stars' has arrived, joined by new side stories and the 'Bloomfield Station' exploration area. Combat options have been bolstered with new weapons, the addition of Moonstone Hunter attributes, and Catastrophe weapons. On top of that, Pan Studio has implemented a guild system, a cosmetic sharing feature, a 'Shining Display Room', 'Brilliance Ranking', and 'Deep Requests', alongside a suite of UI and quality-of-life improvements.

Additionally, the 7-day cumulative login event, 'Peaceful Day', offers growth rewards such as the 'Luminous Hourglass'. Players can also look forward to a series of seasonal events, including the co-op mode 'Starlight Tour', the ranking event 'Towards the Peak', and the 'Immersive Play' mode with a new rotation.

A representative from Pan Studio noted, "This second-half update focuses on significantly expanding the game's overall content, from the introduction of the new character Hilda to fresh stories, exploration areas, and various system refinements."
